Ramadan will start on the Wednesday 11th August, as per announcement of the Regents park Central Mosque.
IANL Ramadan Timetables are available at the Masjid.
No Sisters facilities this Ramadan
- Due to ongoing extension work, proper segregation for sisters/ladies cannot be arranged. Therefore, there will be no praying facilities for ladies at all during this Ramadan for Taraweeh and all other prayers.
Prayer & Facilities:
- Due to ongoing extension work there are no washroom/wudu facilities at the masjid. Kindly, do your wudu at home.
- Masjid gets very busy during the ‘Isha/Taraweeh prayers. The doors will be closed when the masjid is full and will be re-opened when there is space, usually, after the first 8 rakaat of the Taraweeh.
- Also, due to the construction work the kitchen facilities are not available. Therefore, this year there is no provision of food except for dates and water for iftaar.
Prayer & Facilities:
- The masjid is currently a construction site, so children MUST not be left unsupervised at any times.
- Because of the construction and expected congestion during Isha/Taraweeh prayers, children under 7 years old are not allowed at the masjid for these prayers.
- Children under 10 are not allowed in the main prayer hall and must always stand next to their parents/guardians in prayers.
Late Night Taraweeh:
- Late night/2nd Taraweeh at 12.45 am Sundays to Thursdays and 1.00 am on Fridays and Saturdays.
